Τό Μουσεῖον

Introduction

Thanks to my love of Classical history and art more generally, I have a slowly growing collection of antiquities, ancient coins, antique prints, and other pieces of art. This collection, which I facetiously call τ μουσεον (“the museum”), comprises items that all have some connection with subjects very dear to me. Like all pieces of art, they were created to be shared or admired by people in some way, and I am eager for their appreciation by others to continue.

IschiaMapBlaeuDetail
Detail of a hand-inked map of Ischia and the Bay of Naples (Joan and Cornelius Blaeu, ca. 1640; acquired spring 2017). While many topographical features on this map are no longer extant, the castle at the eastern end of Ischia (left in this image) is and can be seen here with me.

Click below to view some of my items; like my other galleries, these will grow in time. If you are interested in purchasing any items of mine, feel free to contact me.
